AWAKEN rejects the idea that awakening is always peaceful. Its figures, marks, and surging color treat awareness as a disturbance—a force that breaks through comfort and makes returning to sleep impossible.
The work captures the instant between recognition and action, when a person can finally see the shape of their life but has not yet decided what must change. It is revelation with urgency still attached.
Presented as a 24 × 36-inch vertical acrylic edition, the work is printed with archival inks and fused beneath crystal-clear, 0.25-inch Grade-A acrylic. The glossy depth intensifies its electric blues and burned oranges, while hand-polished edges and a French cleat mount create a clean, floating gallery presentation.
